What is Value-Focused Asset ManagementSM

Veriam’s unique value-focused approach to IT Asset Management and Software License Management helps to ensure program support across the organization by implementing an ITAM / SLM program that demonstrates hard-dollar ROI.

Organizations have generally given up on showing spend reduction from an ITAM or SLM program, but Veriam’s innovative approach allows executives to once again expect a return from those investments.

The program begins with an ITAM Value AnalysisSM where each potential asset management value proposition is evaluated within the organization.  The result of the ITAM Value Analysis is a measured and ranked listing of the potential expected return for each candidate value target.  The results allow an organization to focus its resources on those ITAM areas that will provide the greatest ROI.

Once the specific value targets are agreed, Veriam analyzes and documents the internal processes related to executing ITAM and then configures our ITAM / SLM platform to streamline the processes required to achieve the target ROI.  Simultaneously, any necessary interfaces and feeds are configured.

The managed service platform is then integrated with the client’s intranet and tested.  All parties are trained on the solution and a pilot is performed.  Once the pilot is accepted by both Veriam and the client, run state is initiated and the system becomes operational.

During run state, regular reporting is performed that provides the information to allow you to measure actual performance againt expected ROI.  Deviations are analyzed and recommendations for program changes are made accordingly.  Experienced Veriam asset managers keep careful watch over the system on an ongoing basis to ensure that processes are executed as required to maintain an accurate and current ITAM database.
