Jim Boyle – CEO
Jim Boyle has been in the Information Technology industry for his entire 35-year career. Beginning with Wang Laboratories, Inc., he has held positions ranging from Field Technician to Director of Worldwide Repair and Remanufacturing. From Wang, Jim moved to TRW's Customer Service Division (CSD) which was eventually acquired by Vanstar Corp. As General Manager of the Mainframe Services business, Jim successfully divested this business and assumed responsibility for Field Operations as Vice President of Customer Service, in CSD where he directed the network operations centers (NOC), desktop services, logistics, as well as purchasing and help desk operations.
More recently, Jim was with Dell, Inc., serving as Director of Customer Services and Director of Distribution Services. There, he oversaw the development and implementation of a large scale distribution management system that still controls the planning and fulfillment operations responsible for Dell's domestic after market parts distribution transactions.
Jim Basara – COO
Jim Basara is a serial entrepreneur and brings more than 25 years of leadership experience to Veriam in the areas of software development, operations, and corporate management. Prior to founding Veriam, Jim served as COO of Language Analysis Systems, Inc., a highly specialized linguistics software firm, where he led the company’s turnaround culminating in a highly successful acquisition of the firm by IBM.
Before LAS, Jim served as COO of PromiseMark, Inc., where he helped to build the first company in history to provide consumer protection plans in the areas of identity theft and computer viruses. Prior to PromiseMark, Jim started Memex, Inc., a successful U.S. subsidiary of a U.K. software company in the area of criminal intelligence, and served as its CEO. He has also held positions with Sterling Software, GTE, Contel, and Eaton Corporation. Prior to his commercial experience, Jim served in the U.S. Air Force where he designed and developed software for military intelligence.
